Rally Held Promoting to Change Division Street Name for Martin Luther King Jr.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Approximately 100 people in Arlington participated in the NAACP’s campaign to rename Division Street after Martin Luther King Jr. They carried signs and chanted slogans including “Let’s Pave the Way for MLK” on Saturday.

President Silk Littlejohn-Gamble reportedly led the group. They have been petitioning city and state officials to rename the prominent 8-mile stretch of highway in honor of the civil-rights leader.

Many supporters went to Division Street holding up banners with King’s photo as well as signs which read, “Promote this vision, End the Division.” The said peaceful march reportedly ended with a rally at Cowboys Stadium. Supporters spoke regarding how they believe that such a tribute would help unify the community.

School Board Hopefuls Seek Seat in Arlington

ARLINGTON, Texas – In Arlington, school trustee Aaron Reich is reportedly challenged for his Place 3 seat by Bridgett Davis, a homemaker and former teacher. She also ran unsuccessfully for a seat on the school board last year.

Reich, who is a pharmacist and was first elected to the school board in 2009, is the board secretary. He and his wife have two children studying in Arlington schools. He currently holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from Creighton University and did his residency at M.D. Anderson hospital located in Houston.

Arlington Council Declines Voting on Watering Limits

ARLINGTON, Texas – Local residents in Arlington reportedly reacted violently at the Arlington City Council during a public hearing on Tuesday night, which reportedly called to plan and implement permanent twice-a-week watering restrictions. The locals referred to the plan as “outrageous” and “anti-American.”

After their rant, which had been reportedly preceded by phone calls as well as e-mails from upset residents, the city council declined to vote regarding on a proposed ordinance change which would have limited residents including businesses to watering their landscaping only on specific days.

Even though back and neck problems are commonplace, it is a good thing that generally they can resolve on their own.  In reality, the usual result of spinal pain symptoms is most favorable with or without treatment.

It is challenging to determine which treatments are or are not successful because of the body’s natural tendency of spine-related pain to improve; i.e. the pain often subsides on its own regardless of whether you received any form of medical intervention.  However, even with the body’s natural ability to heal itself and get you out of pain, many people with back or neck pain experience pain that persists, gets worse, or comes and goes.  If you are reading this article, chances are that your back or neck pain problem falls into the classification of not getting better by itself.  The following is a list of the more common pain situations:
